CHALLENGE
Angel 7 Industries, LLC (A7) created a new helmet technology, 3SAV that was to be used in military and commercial aviation. A7 wanted to introduce this technology to the government and private sectors. The 3SAV technology utilizes a proprietary coating stack that allows the visor to automatically adjust to varying lighting conditions both in and out of the aircraft in less than 10 seconds.
OUR WORK
Eaddy Perry & Associates, Inc. (currently agency of record) created and implemented a tailored comprehensive integrated communications plan that played well with new and ongoing advertising and marketing efforts. We developed both a business-to-business and consumer specific campaign, which heavily utilized our designed product release kit, which included backgrounder, press releases, product profile, product photos, fact sheets, and designer bio. These materials were used to strengthen our pitches for media placement and selling to the marketplace, resulting in feature story placements and solid business-to-business ventures.
We also set-up onsite and offsite demonstrations for potential clients and media to introduce the technology via simulation, along with setting-up the company’s designated executive to serve as an expert panelist/keynoter for industry specific conferences and tradeshows.
RESULTS
Through our efforts, A7 is no longer has anonymity in its industry marketplace, has increased sales opportunities, and landed a host of media impressions. A7’s 3SAV was accurately distinguished from the competition has been proven to be credible, securing endorsements from authoritative sources and acquiring new contract customers. Most notably, military specifications for countries Dubai, Thailand, and United Kingdom, with assistance from A7, have rewritten equipment specifications to accommodate purchasing the state of the art technology. Other products in the consumer markets are utilizing this technology, primarily A7’s i-RMR Eyewear.
In 2012, Angel 7 Industries, LLC Director Kerry Harris was named Black Enterprise Magazine’s Innovator of the Year.
